Great spot to stop and grab a burger and coke to relax after being in the road. Small town.

Stopped here for breakfast and it was great food. One had the blueberry pancakes and there were lots of blueberries in them. One had SOS sausage gravy over Texas toast and grits and was also great. Two had over medium eggs which were cooked perfectly not runny like most places with bacon which was also cooked perfectly. Coffee was good too. Great service and very nice staff. Will definitely go back.

Best bread pudding ever. I had chicken salad, lots of bread choices but this time my rye wasn't very fresh. Potatoes soup was good, but small bowl, is really small. Buffalo chicken sandwich my wife had was good. Service was good, seating is limited with small tables. Cool atmosphere.

Food was good but not great. Service was slow. My wife was almost finished with her food before mine arrived. I thought they had forgotten me. It took well over an hour for lunch.

Delicious sandwiches and great southern hospitality

My food (turkey club in white) was excellent! The only issue my group had was that on the salads others ordered there was almost no chicken, when it was supposed to be a chicken salad. EVERYONE ELSE really enjoyed their lunch and had no issues. Great bread pudding!

Had the special sandwhich of the day, my sweetheart had a Ruben, both of our sandwiches were delicious and ample. Service was timely and the ambiance was hometown friendly.

Beautiful nostalgic tin celings with historical buildings all around. Seems like this was the place to stop for lunch as lots of locals were eating lunch here. Classic dishes are served here, anywhere from chicken salad to burgers. Great small town vibe & a little free museum nearby.

This is a very cute, out of the way place to enjoy wonderful food and a very nostalgic atmosphere. They have a lot of historical newspaper clippings and pictures that are a lot of fun to look at while you are waiting for your meal. They have several different breads to choose from which are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend you stopping in and also trying their homemade bread pudding and wonderful pies!! Very friendly service also!!

Super Yummy food! We ate here on a Sunday afternoon and all 6 left happy and full! We had burgers, sandwiches, breakfast food and soup. Everything was homemade and delish! Sourdough bread was especially tasty. Service was very attentive and caring. Had called ahead to order a 6x6 pan of the bread pudding - sooo good! Eat here - you won't be disappointed!

Was visiting my Aunt, who is in nursing care. Wanted to take her to lunch. Saw the pics on here and just had to come visit. Anyone who's lived in Dutchtowne area of Cameron or has family there will remember this place as the old corner grocer. My grandfather used to take me and he and I would sit at the bar and have a soda.

I was looking forward to the meatloaf (a pic I saw) , but realized that had been a daily special. We had the chicken and dumplings. They looked so good (and WERE) we forgot to take a photo. The sandwiches looked amazing! Will probably have one when we come back.

    A great first visit!
Food great, staff great! Bread pudding for dessert.

Old fashion goodness with great prices.

Great place to eat. The turkey sandwich was piled high with freshly sliced turkey. The sourdough bun was out of the world good. Atmosphere is great, looks like it's in an old general store.

  • *****

Love this place. Great restaurant with a coffee shop feel. A little gem in Cameron, Texas. If you want good food without the corporate atmosphere, then come here.

This was our first time there and we enjoyed the biscuit bowl. We thought it was a lil pricey for that dish, but it was delicious! We will definitely be going back!!

I stop here whenever I’m in Cameron and have always been happy with my food! I was there on 2/13/18 had the stuffed bake potato, my only complaint was that it wasn’t hot enough. Ordered a slice of lemon meringue pie to go, it was a perfect dinner dessert, not to sweet!

Hidden amidst some historical crumbling buildings, this local hang out serves a fantastic lunch and a decent breakfast. All the leaders in town are here. Atmosphere is genuinely authentic. I finished a great club sandwich and potatoe soup with the best coconut cream pie I’ve ever had. A gem in Cameron and worth looking for.

I love love Dutchtowne Deli. Was there for breakfast this morning, I normally get the French toast & it is delicious. Today I changed up & got an omelet with ham & cheese, side of hashbrowns & toast. But it came with sliced cheese on top of the omelet, wth & it was salty. ? I'll be back getting the French toast again, it's so good.

Was staying nearby for the weekend, and came into town both days for breakfast. Even though it was a bit crowded Saturday morning the service was excellent. Great food, really good prices, awesome service. The location is cute with all the antiques on display and just begs for you to make an excuse to come back. Will definitely be having breakfast here everytime we visit Cameron.

Very busy for breakfast on Sunday. Good food and great service.

A real find in Cameron, Texas. I had the pleasure of having lunch there today. I had the turkey club on their jalapeo bread and cup of potato soup. Both were excellent. Their jalepeno bread is not spicy and has a slight sweet taste...perfect for the saltiness of bacon and turkey. The potato soup was fantastic. Everything was excellent about this place, including the charming old building in which it is located.

  • *****

My new favorite place to stop on my way to and from Houston. Great food and amazing service. I'd recommend the potato soup and their burgers are excellent.

  • *****

Love this little spot, I try to visit it every time I come to Cameron. They have an amazing avocado ranch dressing that goes great w/ any of their fresh salads. The sandwiches are good & made fresh. The atmosphere is fun & has that small town feeling, definitely worth a try.

  • *****

I just love this little place. I had the potato soup and my hubby had the chili. Soooo good on a cold day. The staff is so friendly.

  • *****

Amazing find in little Cameron! Their broccoli cheese soup, burgers, panini, and Phili cheese sandwich were all phenomenal. Any of their breads are delicious.

  • *****

Got to meet the owner of this lovely establishment this afternoon and highly recommend you try a slice of her bread pudding. It was delicious! I'll be back for sure!

It cute with see nick nacks, with a very simple menu.

  • *****

Great breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. Make sure to check the marble ice cream counter and the interesting old building details.

Had a burger with my family here a couple of weeks ago and it was good food and good service. I do wish that they served fries or seasoned fries, chips were good however. It's a cool old building as well that used to be an "old-timey" grocery store.

Hard to find but provided excellent food and service. The lemon merange pie melted in my mouth. Would recommend this place to everyone I know. The atmosphere was quant and interesting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely go again when I am in the area.
